Mr. Cory Edwards
Interim Director / Historic Preservation Officer
This month, we are joined by Mr. Cory Edwards. Cory is the Interim Director / Historic Preservation Officer for the City of San Antonio Office of Historic Preservation. Cory has more than 18 years of experience in historic preservation and cultural resource management in both the public and private sectors. He has served at the City of San Antonio since 2012, and in that time, has overseen the development of historic design guidelines, policy and code updates, and process improvements. He holds a Master of Architecture and a Certificate in Historic Preservation from Texas Tech University. He also serves as the Vice Chair for the National Alliance of Preservation Commissions.
